About me

A year ago I moved back to Jacksonville from the sunny beaches of Miami. I grew up in this town, though as kids we moved around a lot. Through all of the moving we did as kids we still landed here. When I left Miami, for a second I thought it was a huge mistake coming back. I feel though now after a year of being back that I have finally settled back in to my own skin.
I started blogging to get out and explore more. Who wouldn't want to explore the city that has some really interesting events, shows, and awesome things going on all time. I also realized sometimes people knock this city, but I find new things to love about it all the time.
My journey isn't always clear, but I'm learning to navigate it.  I can still remember when we were kids we would go out to eat and my mother would never let us order the same thing twice at the restaurants. We would end up trying everything at least once, because of those moments I love food to this day and trying new things. Since I was little I could remember watching my grandmother intently sewing and altering clothes for clients and letting me play with the sewing machines. I knew then, the way I do now, I was in love with all things fashion. Having traveled to fashion hubs, I loved styling and seeing the outfits come together. I am nowhere near the "typical" girl. I'm not a size 2-6, or have flawless skin, but what I do have is awesome style and great taste. This blog is dedicated to all the girls who love to explore and aren't perfect.

I live in a great city that has so much to offer.
